Pulpmaster Hercules bin lifter

The Pulpmaster Hercules

02 · At the loading dock

One shared machine for a whole centre of food outlets

Designed for use with small mobile garbage bins, the Hercules suits large shopping centres and precincts where many food outlets share one back-of-house. Each tenant fills its own bin, the Hercules lifts and empties it inside a caged bin lifter, and the pulp is collected and recycled exactly as it is from the 6100.

Built for shared back-of-house

Food court and restaurant tenants generate food waste at different times of day, in different volumes, with no room for a machine of their own. The Hercules gives the centre one organics point in the dock: tenants wheel a small bin to it rather than carting bags across the service corridor to a skip.

Because the bin lifter is caged and automated, nobody lifts a full bin. The cycle is the same as any Pulpmaster — solid and liquid food waste macerated into a pulp and pumped through to a sealed holding tank for collection by J.J. Richards.

How it works for tenants

01

Each outlet fills a bin

Tenants collect food waste in their own small mobile bin, labelled organics only to keep contamination out.

02

The Hercules lifts it

The bin is wheeled into the caged lifter and emptied automatically. Nobody lifts a full bin.

03

Pulped and pumped

Solid and liquid food waste is macerated and pumped through to a sealed holding tank.

04

Collected by J.J. Richards

The tank level is displayed as a percentage, and the pulp is vacuumed out when it is due.

Fitting the dock

Set out to work in a busy dock

Docks are the tightest space on a shared site, and the Hercules is set out around that. The holding tank can sit apart from the machine, sized and shaped to tuck against a boundary or under a stair rather than taking a bin bay, and the fill point is positioned so the tanker can reach it without blocking deliveries.

One kitchen rather than a shared site?

A single commercial kitchen is usually better served by the 6100 beside the prep area. The caddy system is part of every installation. Compare all three side by side, or answer four questions and we will recommend a setup.
